I worry about my dad since Mum died
My dad lives alone and I worry all the time about his medicines.
Mum was the one who organised them, laying them out neatly in a cassette box for each dose. She even stood over him as he took them.
He’s just hopeless without her.
I have found a solution which allows me to give my dad all the support he needs, even when I am away on business.
The Medication Support at Home service provides complete monitoring of his medicines at administration times, face to face using their Medihub, a video-call system.
Now my dad’s medication is taken care of
He receives support, guidance, and advice from qualified and registered pharmacy professionals, who can see what medicines my dad is taking and can intervene if necessary.
They also manage all the hassle of the monthly repeat prescriptions, making our lives so much better and organised.
They deal with any medication problems and worries that arise during the month, and will even liaise with the GP practice on our behalf.
Dad is so much more relaxed and confident about his medicine and I’m relieved not to have the terrible responsibility of setting up his medicines four times a day.
The service has made changed both of our lives, making Dad more independent and me – well, I’m so confident about taking time away from Dad, that I’ve just booked my dream holiday!
